Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing physical capabilities and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and muscle reeducation, to maximize patient recovery. Educate and consult with patients and their caregivers regarding ongoing treatment plans and home exercise programs. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on individual responses and outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to utilize best practices and enhance overall patient care. Maintain exemplary patient rapport through effective communication and exceptional praise for patient achievements. Meet established productivity targets and contribute to the professional development of support staff. Work a standard Monday through Friday schedule totaling 40 hours per week at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Active Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia
- APTA's or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program graduate
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication expertise
- Digital literacy for documentation and reporting
