Job Summary
Evaluate patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. Implement and monitor therapeutic programs while employing interventions to facilitate functional improvements in alignment with medical directives. Provide high-quality customer service, educate patients and families on recovery protocols, and actively participate in departmental objectives to achieve minimum utilization goals. Work onsite in a rehabilitation clinic environment Monday through Friday for a 40-hour shift, supporting a diverse patient population from young athletes to elderly clients seeking chronic pain relief.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills to foster relationships with patients and their families effectively
- Proficiency in word processing and other computer applications related to practice management
Desired Qualifications
- at least two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
