Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians and develop tailored treatment plans. Implement therapeutic regimens utilizing evidence-based practices, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain relief. Educate patients and families about recovery processes and home exercise programs. Track patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed, documenting outcomes to provide a measurable record of care improvements. Engage actively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operational effectiveness. Meet established utilization targets through positive patient engagement and excellent customer service. Work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Old Bridge, NJ, Monday to Friday for 40 hours a week.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Completion of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in word processing and computer applications relevant to patient care documentation
- A commitment to establishing rapport with patients and a genuine desire to see them exceed their functional goals
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical experience in various aspects of physical therapy
- Experience working in specialized areas such as pediatrics, sports medicine, or neurological rehabilitation
