Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians. Utilize research-driven methodologies to implement effective therapy interventions, addressing unique needs through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Provide education and training to patients and caregivers regarding home care and ongoing wellness. Document all patient interactions and therapy sessions in accordance with professional standards and facility protocols. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes. Work onsite Monday to Friday for a full 40-hour shift.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Certification in Basic Life Support from an accredited institution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in computer and word processing skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Experience working with varied patient demographics
