Job Summary
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create, implement, and adjust individualized patient care plans based on assessments and observed outcomes. Effectively engage and educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, treatments, and home care strategies. Utilize various physical therapy techniques to treat impairments, restore function, and relieve pain, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Demonstrate exemplary customer service, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and their families. Participate in staff meetings, training, and other professional development opportunities aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided. Contribute to departmental operational efficiency by assisting with budgeting and resource allocation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent
- A valid physical therapy license in New Jersey
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Basic proficiency in computer skills to navigate electronic health records and scheduling software
