Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine physical therapy needs. Design and implement effective treatment programs tailored to individual patient goals while adhering to physician directives. Provide hands-on therapeutic care utilizing advanced techniques to improve physical functions. Engage in evidence-based practice through collaborative approaches with a multidisciplinary team. Educate and train patients and caregivers on rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle adjustments. Demonstrate exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and support clinic objectives by meeting defined utilization targets. Treat diverse populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Submit a CV and cover letter detailing relevant experience and passion for physical therapy.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited university
- A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
- Current CPR certification to ensure patient care safety
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members
- Basic competency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and communication purposes
- A knack for building genuine relationships with patients to inspire and motivate them in their recovery journey
- A proactive attitude towards community engagement and outreach
- Onsite work at the Rehabilitation Center in Riverside, Connecticut
