Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, set measurable treatment goals, and devise individualized rehabilitation programs based on physician referrals. Document all treatments, progress, and care plan modifications in compliance with regulatory standards while monitoring intervention effectiveness to adjust plans as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and other therapists to provide integrated care, and educate patients and families on exercises to promote recovery and prevent re-injury. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff to ensure adherence to best practices. Work Monday through Friday with occasional rotating weekend shifts at our Vienna, Virginia facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer and documentation skills
- Minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting
