Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs through physical evaluations and intake reviews to determine appropriate treatment strategies. Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function. Track patient progress, document treatments in accordance with clinic protocols, and regularly reassess goals to modify plans as needed. Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and home exercises while fitting them for assistive devices and providing training on their use. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in basic computer and documentation skills
- A strong sense of flexibility and adaptability
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience in home care services
- Experience working with assistive devices
