Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities tailored to promote physical well-being and alleviate pain. Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, or heat/cold therapy as part of the treatment regimen. Continuously monitor and document patient progress, noting improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capacity. Prepare treatment areas, maintaining equipment and supplies in an organized manner, ready for therapy sessions. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Provide emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment throughout their rehabilitation experience. Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and rights are respected. Work onsite in Gainesville, FL, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to assess patient conditions accurately
- Ability to develop tailored rehabilitation plans

Desired Qualifications
