Job Summary
Direct physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore muscle function while conducting comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tests. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and traction, and oversee Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure accurate care plan implementation. Evaluate home environments for rehabilitation enhancements and document clinical records to maintain continuity. Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to coordinate holistic patient care for individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating after injuries.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Current CPR certification in good standing.
- A commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
- A proactive attitude and a strong work ethic, emphasizing continuous professional growth.
