Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to create tailored treatment plans addressing their unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Utilize therapeutic techniques, including exercise and manual therapy, to alleviate pain and improve mobility while persistently monitoring progress and adjusting strategies based on evaluations. Document all interactions and outcomes meticulously in the electronic health records system and educate patients and families about procedures and assistive devices. Reassess conditions periodically using outcome measures to ensure effective treatment strategies. Engage in professional development through workshops and industry organizations to stay current with advancements. This role supports a diverse patient population ranging from children to elderly individuals managing musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure in Physical Therapy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and communication
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
