Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs and capabilities. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies, including exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities. Monitor and document patient progress regularly while adapting plans to meet evolving therapeutic goals. Utilize various therapeutic tools to improve mobility, strength, and functionality. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the rehabilitation process and guide them through suitable home exercise programs. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a multidimensional approach to patient care. Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and continuing education to stay abreast of best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- State license in Physical Therapy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and rehabilitation technologies
- Basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry
- Ability to be adaptive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
