Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans. Utilize therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to restore function and enhance mobility. Document progress meticulously, reassess patient needs regularly, and instruct families on proper exercise and device use. Engage in continuing education to integrate best practices into care. Work onsite at our Roanoke, VA rehabilitation facility from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capability to use computer systems for documentation and patient management effectively
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to various clinical situations
- A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting
