Job Summary
Develop tailored treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including muscle, nerve, and joint evaluations. Administer physical therapy treatments such as manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage while supervising Physical Therapy Assistants. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences and document patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards. Enhance patients' home environments with recommendations to support independence. Treat diverse populations including post-operative and chronic pain patients onsite at our East Brunswick Rehabilitation Center.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage patient caseloads efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering productive patient relationships and collaboration with team members
- Minimum of two years of related experience
