Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education tailored to unique needs while monitoring progress and modifying treatments to maximize effectiveness. Document all interactions accurately using CureMD EMR and engage in regular multidisciplinary consultations to enhance overall care. Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention and wellness strategies to foster independence. This role primarily serves adults aged 40-65 with orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, or post-surgical recovery needs in a collaborative outpatient orthopedic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of direct outpatient experience
- Excellent clinical judgment combined with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Knowledge of current rehabilitation technologies
- Passion for integrating rehabilitation technologies into patient care
- Proven ability to work well in a team-based format as well as independently
