Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to establish individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Maintain meticulous documentation of patient treatments and progress while regularly reassessing conditions to modify plans as needed. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and assistive devices to promote ongoing recovery within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other documentation software to maintain accurate patient records
- Adept at using therapeutic equipment and modalities to aid in recovery
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the dynamic needs of patients
Desired Qualifications
- While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, we encourage new graduates or less experienced candidates who are eager to learn and grow in their careers to apply
