Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop effective treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs. Implement tailored rehabilitation programs across specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine while utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment regimens and injury prevention strategies, maintaining accurate records to track progress and meet compliance standards. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and meet productivity goals. Work Monday through Friday in 40-hour shifts at our state-of-the-art Lakeland facility, serving a diverse population recovering from surgeries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Competence with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience working with a diverse range of patients, including those in pediatrics and sports medicine
- Prior involvement in patient education and community outreach
