Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish effective treatment plans based on assessment findings and physician recommendations. Utilize evidence-based techniques to implement individualized therapy programs targeting specific recovery goals for patients across geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. Engage in ongoing communication with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and guidance while meeting designated productivity and quality assurance benchmarks. Work onsite at our Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation Center Monday through Friday, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE-approved)
- Current, valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Proven capability in building strong relationships and communicating effectively with patients and their families
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and word processing software
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting
- Skilled in utilizing up-to-date therapeutic modalities
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice and patient-centered care approaches
