Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans, utilizing exercise regimens, hands-on methods, and patient education to aid recovery. Monitor and document progress meticulously, adjusting protocols based on feedback, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care. Provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers on assistive device usage and stay current with best practices through professional development workshops. Engage with diverse patient populations ranging from children to the elderly across orthopedic, neurological, and chronic pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using technology and software pertinent to physical therapy documentation and patient care management
- A flexible approach and agility in adapting therapeutic interventions based on patient needs
- At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, delivering rehabilitation services in a diverse patient environment
- Experience with electronic health record systems and documentation practices
