Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations using clinical observations and measurements to formulate individualized treatment goals. Administer therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility while continuously assessing responses and adjusting plans. Instruct patients on prescribed activities and document all treatments and progress in compliance with state regulations and HIPAA standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers to share patient information and integrate diverse therapy options. Work with diverse populations including adults and geriatrics with orthopedic conditions, post-operative needs, and chronic pain. Maintain current licensure and participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited institution
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Oregon
- Basic Life Support Certification, obtained through a recognized provider such as the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- A thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics as pertinent to rehabilitation practice
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedics and acute care
- Demonstrated ability to create effective treatment plans based on best practices and clinical evidence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
