Job Summary
Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans to enhance patient mobility, strength, and functionality. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, educate them on body mechanics and home programs, and administer modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound under supervision. Monitor and document patient progress metrics, prepare treatment areas, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize care strategies. Provide emotional support and maintain ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality while working with diverse populations including seniors, children, and post-surgical individuals. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility for patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active and valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various therapeutic interventions relevant to physical therapy
- Demonstrated proficiency in executing therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient-centered and empathetic approach to care

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, particularly in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
