Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical health status to identify rehabilitation needs and create personalized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to promote physical health and function. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health counselors and psychiatrists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Maintain precise and confidential records for each patient while regularly participating in team meetings and case consultations. Provide education to patients and families regarding recovery expectations and home exercise programs tailored to enhance outcomes. Work onsite at the Huntington Beach facility Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles, techniques, and evidence-based practices related to physical health therapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and their families
- A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards in patient care
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation facility or outpatient setting
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using digital tools for patient management
- Experience with specific rehabilitation techniques or modalities that can enhance patient care outcomes
