Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Warren County

Job Summary
Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapists provide individual In-home therapy, group and telehealth sessions, and outpatient center therapy for youth with mental health disorders in Northern New Jersey. Responsibilities include conducting bio-psycho-social assessments, developing treatment plans, teaching coping and anger management skills, reducing risk behaviors, supporting youth and caregivers, collaborating with the Child & Family Treatment Team, mentoring newly hired therapists and interns, and completing required clinical documentation. Must hold a valid NJ license (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LAC/LSW/LFT), have at least 5 years of post-licensure experience with youth, and be prepared to train for assessments; requires a Master’s degree and willingness to undergo background checks and a pre-employment drug screen. Availability for after-school hours, with weekend flexibility; driving within service areas in NJ required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT); reciprocity considered for out-of-state licenses
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or training junior therapists and interns
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training (training or willingness to complete)
- Experience with treatment planning, progress notes, initial assessments, and goal setting
- Proficiency in CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Experience providing positive behavior supports
- Experience with children ages 3-20; I/DD experience a plus
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
- Availability during after-school hours (12 PM–8 PM); weekend flexibility a plus
