Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Somerset County

Job Summary
Provide in-home, group, telehealth, and center-based therapy for youth and adolescents with mental health disorders; mentor newly hired therapists and interns; conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment plans; utilize CBT/DBT/Trauma-Informed approaches; perform intake, treatment planning, DAP notes, and related documentation; must hold a current NJ license and have 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience; valid NJ driver’s license; after-school and weekend availability; primarily based in Somerset, NJ with in-person service delivery. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT); reciprocity for out-of-state licenses may apply
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or training junior therapists and interns
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Some training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training
- Experience with treatment planning, progress notes, initial assessments, and goal setting
- Proficiency in counseling approaches such as CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Experience providing positive behavior supports
- Experience with children ages 3-20; IDD experience is a plus
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ license or certification
