Job Summary
Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Southern New Jersey providing In-Home, Center-Based and Telehealth services for youth; mentoring newly hired therapists and interns; responsibilities include individual/group/telehealth therapy, bio-psycho-social assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with treatment teams.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT); reciprocity possible for out-of-state licenses
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or training junior therapists and interns
- Proficiency in counseling approaches such as CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Experience providing positive behavior supports
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- Availability during after-school hours (12 PM–8 PM); weekend flexibility a plus
