Job Summary
Leasing Consultant supports leasing, marketing, and resident relations by delivering excellent customer service, supporting occupancy goals, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies. Responsibilities include conducting tours, presenting community features, reviewing applications (income, credit, background), maintaining lease files, ensuring apartment readiness, supporting move-in processes, renewals, and retention, tracking leads and follow-ups in property management systems, responding to inquiries, and contributing to marketing outreach and social media efforts. Requires strong customer service and sales skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to multitask, confidentiality, and ability to work weekends; education includes High School Diploma or GED, with Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
