Job Summary
Conduct cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks throughout assigned federal property, including exterior parking lots, snow removal with equipment, and window washing. Sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum floors, rugs, and carpets; dust furniture and scrub surfaces. Empty trash containers, manage recycling, and replenish restroom supplies like towels and toilet paper. Assist with sanitizing shared facilities such as restrooms, gyms, and offices, while putting away cleaning materials and supplies. Full-time 40-hour schedule Monday through Friday with weekends off, requiring flexibility between 6am and 6pm and overtime. Requires two years of experience, federal background check, and DOJ security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of related experience, preferably in a federal office environment
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as snow removal and floor buffers
- Must pass a federal background check and Department of Justice (DOJ) security clearance to obtain and hold badging to access federal secured properties
- Must follow all badging requirements and will require visits to the federal site
- Must pass pre-employment and on-going drug screen
- Trademasters is an E-Verify employer where identity and employment eligibility must be verified
- Ability to constantly move/walk, work up high, above head, or low and position self and move in accessing constricted spaces
- Ability to push, pull, lift/carry cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ability to occasionally transport objects up to 50 pounds
