Job Summary

Deliver assigned cybersecurity classes using pedagogy and technology that support student learning, develop and maintain curriculum, and manage classroom environments adhering to safety standards. Provide timely feedback on course outcomes, maintain student records, and utilize the Learning Management System to facilitate assessment and communication. Engage students outside class to support curriculum goals, promote retention through academic coaching and monitoring, and intervene with tutoring or resource referrals as needed. Participate in professional development, scholarly activities, and community service while supporting program management and accreditation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Earned master's degree or higher, from a regionally accredited institution, in information technology as appropriate to the program
  • Earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: Professional certification (national, regional, or state) in the information technology field
  • Earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: Two years of in-field professional employment
  • Earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: Documented evidence of information technology teaching excellence including date of award
  • Earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: Documentation of research and publication in the field
  • Earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: Documented relevant additional information technology coursework beyond the bachelor's degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU's, vendor, or military
  • Earned bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, information technology or related field as appropriate to the program, with documentation in two or more of the following: Professional certification (national, regional, or state) in the field
  • Earned bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, information technology or related field as appropriate to the program, with documentation in two or more of the following: Two years of in-field professional employment
  • Earned bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, information technology or related field as appropriate to the program, with documentation in two or more of the following: Documented evidence of information technology teaching excellence including date of award
  • Earned bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, information technology or related field as appropriate to the program, with documentation in two or more of the following: Documentation of research and publication in the field
  • Earned bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, information technology or related field as appropriate to the program, with documentation in two or more of the following: Documented relevant additional information technology coursework beyond the bachelor's degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU's, vendor, or military
  • Official Academic Transcripts required at the time of hire, sent directly from issuing institution to the Office of Human Resources
