Job Summary
Full-time Inpatient Counselor at St. Joseph’s Addiction Treatment & Recovery Centers in Saranac Lake, NY. Provides clinical services within an inpatient chemical dependency treatment program, building therapeutic relationships, leading group therapy, delivering individual sessions (minimum 50 minutes weekly), completing admissions, assessments, and discharge planning, and documenting progress. Works within a multidisciplinary team, participates in supervision, supports retention and aftercare planning, and pursues CASAC Trainee and/or upper level QHP credentials. Requires minimum high school diploma or equivalent; degrees in human services or related fields preferred; First Aid/CPR certified. Weekend/holiday coverage and adherence to SJRC policies and procedures are required.
