Job Summary
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and curriculum for infants and toddlers ages 18 months through 2.9 years old. Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while building positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators. Work a rotating schedule including 6:30-2:30 and 10:00-6:00 shifts, with one rotating Friday shift per week. Maintain full supervision of children at all times while actively participating in physical activities and lifting up to 35 lbs. This role requires EEC certification in Infants and toddlers, at least 18 years of age, and experience in child care or preschool settings.
Required Qualifications
- EEC certification in Infants and toddlers
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with children in a child care, daycare, or preschool setting
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift at least 35 lbs
- Ability to actively participate in physical activities
- Ability to maintain full supervision of children at all times
- Positive, patient, and encouraging personality
- A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- Rotating schedule: 6:30-2:30 (Tuesday, Thursday) & 10:00-6:00 (Monday, Wednesday) and one rotating shift per week on Fridays
