Job Summary
Float between infant and toddler classrooms while assisting supervisors to create a warm, welcoming environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators by maintaining full supervision and helping to foster a nurturing learning atmosphere. Work an 8-hour schedule from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including availability to open and close the center. This role requires EEC Infant/Toddler certification, experience in child care settings, and the ability to lift 35 lbs while participating in physical activities indoors and outdoors.
Required Qualifications
- EEC Infant/Toddler certification
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift at least 35 lbs
- Ability to participate in physical activities
- Ability to maintain full supervision of children at all times
- Availability to open and close
- 8-hour schedule between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
