Job Summary
Full-time on-site In Home Caregiver in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities include homemaker tasks (grocery shopping, light housekeeping, cooking, laundry), private duty care (medication reminders, bathing and oral hygiene assistance, toileting including incontinence care, dressing, grooming), companionship (conversations, reading, games, walks, safety supervision), travel companion support with client transportation and safety supervision, 24-hour/overnight care (morning/evening routines and bedtime tuck-in), and palliative care (pain and symptom management, emotional support). Requires working on-site in the client’s home in Northern Virginia. U.S. work authorization required; Sponsorship for employment visas is NOT available.
Required Qualifications
- CNA/PCA/HHA Certification
- Experience in caregiving or related field (at least 2 years)
- U.S. work authorization
- Ability to provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting)
- Experience with medication reminders and monitoring vital signs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide companionship and engagement
- Reliability and punctuality, flexible hours preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
