Job Summary
Hospital Environmental Service role at DeTar Hospital Navarro in Victoria, TX. Full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers clean patient rooms, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and other areas on client premises; duties include dusting, vacuuming, polishing surfaces, waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and transporting small equipment. Requires vaccination against COVID-19 and may involve post-offer medical background screening and drug testing. High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required. Shifts include 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm) with pay of $12/hour; on-site work with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
- Experience in janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
