Job Summary
Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, furniture, and metalwork. Sweep, vacuum, dust, and wash walls, ceilings, windows, and door panels. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas. Replenish bathroom supplies and move small equipment between departments. Work 1st and 2nd shifts at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, MS. Includes every other weekend/holiday. Hourly pay rate is $14.74.
Required Qualifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
- Must be able to lift, carry, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
