Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris, then clean corners, edges, and baseboards. Dust mop hard floors, remove marks and scuffs, and damp mop with proper chemicals or scrubbing machines. Utilize floor machines for project work, including burnishing, scrubbing, and stripping floors as directed. Perform related duties such as area cleaning and waste disposal as required. Work the 2nd shift from 3PM to 11:30PM with rotating weekends and holidays. Hourly pay is $16.00 plus a $1.50 shift differential. Requires high school diploma or GED; experience in the janitorial or medical cleaning industry is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
- Post-Offer Medical
- Background Screening
- Drug Test
- Ability to lift, carry, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the janitorial industry
- Previous experience as a Floor Technician or related role
- Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques
- Medical cleaning
