Job Summary
Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans to reduce pain, address mobility issues, and support client rehabilitation goals while overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants. Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assess home environments to recommend tailored safety improvements. Administer specialized treatments including manual therapy, traction, and physical agents like heat and cold. Document all interactions, create detailed clinical records including OASIS evaluations and discharge summaries, and actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Provide education on home exercise programs and device utilization to patients and families. Serve individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions in Arlington, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid license to practice in Virginia
- At least two years of experience as a physical therapist
- Current CPR certification
- An immaculate driving record
- A valid driver's license
