Job Summary
Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, safe transfers, meal preparation, and light housekeeping for clients with full ADL assistance and incontinence needs. Assist with mobility, exercise support as directed by Physical Therapy, and medication reminders while reporting condition changes to the RN. Offer companionship and emotional support to maintain client dignity and independence. Available for morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts in Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Medina Counties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test or Chest X-ray
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of HIPAA and client confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
- HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred
- Current COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B vaccinations preferred
