Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. A two-person married-couple team with both spouses age 27+ and a high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to campus conduct rules.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
