Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions, identify limitations, and document progress for individualized treatment plans. Design and execute tailored therapy strategies incorporating manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to restore mobility and manage pain. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate multifaceted patient needs while adapting sessions to unique home environments. Focus on diverse populations recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic illnesses to empower patients and enhance functional outcomes. Requires a Nevada PT license, 2+ years clinical experience, and EMR proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in outpatient or home care settings
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- A solid understanding of rehabilitative exercise
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree
- Previous experience working in a home care setting
- A strong understanding of community-based rehabilitation services
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans for a wide range of orthopedic conditions
