Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to establish treatment baselines. Develop individualized plans incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices, then administer these treatments in patients' homes. Document progress meticulously and adjust protocols based on ongoing assessments while educating families on exercise regimes and device usage. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and maintain competency through continuous education. This role serves infants, children, adults, and seniors recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, or post-operative conditions in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure for Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation and scheduling
- Flexibility and adaptability to various patient settings and treatment environments
- A minimum of two years of relevant physical therapy experience
Desired Qualifications
- DPT preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Familiarity with home care protocols
- Background in working with pediatric populations
