Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions to establish baseline functionality and treatment needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches, employing modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and home exercise programs to support recovery. Educate patients and families on injury prevention techniques and collaborate with physicians and chiropractors to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a home care setting within Roseville, CA.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California or eligibility to obtain
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy, specifically in treating orthopedic and sports rehabilitation conditions
- Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills complemented by effective clinical reasoning abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, crucial for effectively educating and engaging with patients
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Previous experience in home health settings
- Familiarity with current rehabilitation tools and technology to enhance patient treatment
- Special training or certifications in specific therapeutic techniques, such as dry needling or aquatic therapy
