Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical impairment, and sports-related injuries using evidence-based assessment tools. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific needs, utilizing manual therapy and progressive therapeutic exercises to help patients regain mobility and strength. Provide education on movement mechanics, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies while maintaining comprehensive patient records within the Electronic Medical Records system. Collaborate effectively with orthopedic physicians and multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure cohesive care. Work independently during home visits to deliver care to elderly patients recovering from surgeries or managing chronic conditions, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- At least two (2) years of experience in physical therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to create and execute patient-specific treatment plans based on thorough assessments
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Experience providing care in an Assisted Living Facility or home health setting
