Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities to establish precise treatment plans, utilizing advanced diagnostic methods to assess movement patterns and functional performance. Develop and implement individualized therapy regimens focusing on restoring mobility, improving strength, and alleviating pain through manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation best practices and at-home exercise programs while maintaining accurate records of progress and adjusting plans as necessary. Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in Nevada
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated clinical competency in orthopedic settings
- A strong foundation in sports medicine
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to patient recovery
- The ability to foster a supportive healing environment
- Minimum of two years of hands-on physical therapy experience
