Job Summary

Direct physical therapy treatment focusing on preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring functional mobility in accordance with personalized care plans. Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective implementation of prescribed treatment plans. Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' physical abilities, including diagnostic tests for muscles, nerves, and joints. Assess clients' home environments and recommend modifications to enhance independence and safety. Administer therapeutic exercises and instruct clients in non-manual exercises to foster recovery. Provide services as prescribed by physicians, adhering to clinical protocols. Document all clinical interactions, including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring OASIS compliance. Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies. Educate clients and families about therapy techniques and device usage. Participate in regular care plan reviews and advocate for necessary changes. Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding clinical and payroll processes. Work onsite in patients' homes within Highland Park, New Jersey, with a competitive salary of $100,000 to $120,000 annually.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • A valid and current Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey
  • At least one year of experience as a physical therapist in either an acute care or home care setting
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills
  • High energy, motivation to learn, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Work onsite in patients' homes located within Highland Park, New Jersey
