Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's physical capabilities to develop customized treatment plans aligned with individual recovery goals. Administer hands-on physical therapy using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility and alleviate pain. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create well-rounded care plans addressing holistic patient needs while tracking progress and adjusting strategies as required. Educate patients and family members on effective home exercise programs and coping strategies to support ongoing recovery. Visit patients in their homes throughout the Austin, Texas area, working independently within a supportive healthcare team environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
- at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
