Job Summary
Evaluate patients referred by physicians to determine rehabilitation needs and limitations. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations and patient-specific conditions. Provide skilled therapeutic care using evidence-based practices and diverse techniques to optimize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records complying with industry standards. Consult and educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address complex cases and facilitate holistic care delivery. Meet performance metrics while contributing to business objectives and client satisfaction. Work with diverse populations including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatrics, and sports-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and families
- Basic proficiency in computer applications and electronic health records
- Minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting
