Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop customized treatment plans for orthopedic, pediatric, neurology, and sports medicine cases. Implement various therapeutic modalities in home settings while educating patients and caregivers on rehabilitation exercises. Deliver high-quality services that adhere to care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to measure progress and adjust treatments to meet utilization goals. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction. Work onsite Monday through Friday in a 40-hour shift structure within Sanford, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program
- Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) platforms
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist
- Experience in home care settings or with the specific patient populations mentioned
