Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and establish individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals. Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's condition using specialized techniques to improve mobility and strength. Provide education and training to patients and caregivers regarding conditions, treatment goals, and at-home exercise programs. Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with regulatory compliance and participate in team meetings to share insights on patient care strategies. Work with diverse populations including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric challenges, and sports injuries. Schedule includes Monday through Friday shifts totaling approximately 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-approved program
- A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication
- Competency in documentation and electronic health record management
- Ability to build strong patient relationships
- A genuine desire to connect with individuals on a personal level
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Approximately 40 hours per week
