Job Summary
Provides patient care using the nursing process and maintains accountability for care for assigned patients. Evaluates care effectiveness, coordinates patient care with other departments, and supports the Behavioral Health unit opening (up to 10 beds, adult unit). Includes potential sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, mandatory nursing licensure in the hiring state/compact, and unit-specific certification requirements. Emphasizes Mercy standards, shift differential, and comprehensive benefits; requires standing and walking during shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Certifications: ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN or other unit-specific certifications as required
- Shift requires prolonged standing and walking
- Annual merit increases based on performance
- Benefits: medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition support, retirement plans for 32+ hours per pay period
- Sign On Bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs
