Job Summary
Head Cashier at Lowe's responsible for delivering SMART customer service, operating registers, processing sales and returns, price matching, assisting customers with locating and loading merchandise, and ensuring store safety and organization. Duties include coaching and training associates in cashier and front-end duties, verifying product information and warranties, handling cash and reconciliations, managing line coverage, and monitoring for shoplifting and security risks while maintaining housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
